Feel it, know it, live it

It's amazing that I named this blog "These things I know" and proceeded to write about things I know without actually expressing what I mean by 'know and knowing'.  This blog was started through me and not by me and so I didn't have time to scrutinise (thank the Lords) what was meant  the title, I simply received it and knew that this was it....

But my relationship with 'knowing' has significantly evolved since receiving that first impulse to begin the blog. I used to believe that 'knowing' is about understanding something, having a thing or concept 'make sense' to me and any individual with a sound mind. The Oxford Dictionary concurs with my limited (now I know) perspective of knowing. According to this version, to know is to "have information in your mind as a result of experience or because you have learned or been told of it" (Oxford University Press, 2010:826). I refer to this definition  as limited because it relies only on  infomation/data that is on one's mind.

I've come to the realisation that the mind is a social construct and its none-existent-don't worry if you don't Know this yet, you'll soon realise it too. It's instead the culmination of all thoughts we've thought and ideas that we inherited that we continue to think. In Eastern spirituality, the mind is often referred to as the 'ego'. It's an ego because it is made up, it's what we acquire on this human trail, it's often far removed from the essence of Who we are. The ego/mind is a consciousness of all we think we know. Of all the fears we've inherited from society we were born into. It's that part of human consciousness that will seek to rationalise everything, that which invokes doubt in Ourselves, that which is always seeking proof and evidence. The mind/ego is that voice that tells you to prepare for a 'rainy day' because it doubts that Wellbeing abounds, it's that part of human consciousness that has forgotten. It has forgotten that we are gods in human form. It has forgotten that this physicalness we currently inhabit is not even the half of All that We are. Do you remember what your life was like before those around you started insisting that you 'think'? You Knew more about Who you are then than you probably do now. This is because Knowing has very little to do with what you can make sense of, with what your mind understands than we realise.

Knowing is more tied to what we feel and experience than what we think or what we understand through intellectual processes. The definition offered by the Dictionary was not totally off then, because they did say something about experience....

Anyways, what I know is what I'm feeling and thus experiencing. In my feeling of something I am experiencing it and so I Know it. I feel content as I write this and I can say I am experiencing contentment and so I KNOW what is meant by it.  I am of the opinion that if you are not feeling it and if you are not experiencing it then you are not knowing it. Knowing can be summed up as a feeeling process, not an intellectual one.

This became more clear to me this afternoon when I finally realised that I don't know my worthiness. It sure makes sense to me, I understand how I am worthy of wellbeing, I can even be described as someone with healthy self-esteem but this is not something I'm Knowing as yet. Because I don't feel worthy, most of the time (evident in my dying habit of self-deprecating humour, settling for way less than what I want, fear of failure etc.). Now, I am quiet smart but.....

At this point you're probably asking yourself why I took the time to write this...Well this post is for  all those who want to realise their desires and dreams that are not yet tangible, not yet lived by them. If you, like me want to manifest more money than you can spend or a delicious lover, a house with as many bedrooms as you have relatives, a career that you love...and....and...and...then it's important that you KNOW what you want-I know I'm not the first person to tell you this. But I want you to use your new found perspective on knowing to hear this.

Know it-whatever IT is for you by feeling it. Do you feel poor/broke/lackful more than you feel prosperous? Then you don't KNOW the prosperity you are wanting and it cannot manifest, you cannot live it. It's how the Universe works, you don't live what you don't believe, you don't receive what you don't KNOW. It's really not enough that you know (can list and describe) what you want. For tangible manifestations  that we came to earth for then we must feel that which we want to become...

How does one apply these steps you may ask? I'm doing this in my own life and this is how:
Because I am working on Being like Oprah, it's my deliberate intent to feel more prosperous, to feel and flow love and joy to everyone and everything I'm interacting with. The Universe is responding to these feelings (vibrations) I'm putting out by giving me ideas on How I can express the prosperity, abundance, love and joy I am feeling. One of which was beginning this blog.
So, KNOW what you want so you can live it.

With love always,
Inolofatseng🌞
